Character Design - Basic Shape Language

The task for this week was to create some character designs restricting myself to using only one basic shapes to create a character such as squares, circles and triangles and use the shape language associated with each to form the character.

This is a collection of other inspirational films and games that inspire me and have motivated this film. I would like to draw influence and technique from many of these sources and they will contribute towards the art style of my own film.

Victorian Clothing Research

An important part of my research was into victorian clothing and this would be crucial to allow me to gain a good understanding of the time period and also design my own accurate and sympathetic costumes. This is a collection of my internet research on the period as opposed to my more in depth book research.
