This was a straight forward shot with a close up of the bird. I wanted to have a nice piece of acting for the bird showing that typical bird twitch.
I firstly created the background using zoomed in elements form the previous shot:
I then animated the bird action.
With these elements I simply composited them together to get the final shot:
